Notes
- CRN: Course Reference Number
- WCC has some sessions that are shorter than the full semester. These shorter sessions are sometimes called Parts of Term.
They may start at the same time as the full-semester session or later in the semester.
Each session has its own registration and refund deadlines.
- The section column of the class schedule will provide the key to when your session begins and ends.
The sections begin with a letter of the alphabet. The chart will help you determine when your session begins and ends.
- For example, if you want to take a 7 1/2 week course that begins later in the semester, your section would start
with H, J, K, or L. The class begins the week of June 18 and ends by August 8. Each session has its own registration
and refund deadlines, so pay attention to the charts.
- An "X" in the course Section indicates that the course is held at a location other than the main campus. Make sure
the class listed on your schedule is in the location you want!
- Mixed Mode (Blended) classes require campus attendance at specified dates and times, in addition to online work.
Check the note under the course title in the class listings for on-campus meeting times.
- Mixed Mode classes (sections starting with M) and Distance Learning classes (sections starting with D) have various deadlines.
Check the class start and end dates in the class listings.
- Classes may not be offered in all sessions listed here. There may be only a few classes offered in the shorter sessions.
Adding a Class After the Session Begins
To add classes after the session begins, the student must obtain permission from the instructor, who grants permission online,
and this generates an email notice to the student's WCC email account.
If granted permission, students must add by the Last Day to Add
in order to receive a grade in the class.
Note: Students who add after the refund deadline will not be able to drop for a refund and will not be dropped for nonpayment.

Withdrawing From a Class: NO REFUND
There are no refunds for students who do not drop by the Last Day to Drop. Students may withdraw by the Last Day to Withdraw, but
- They will not receive a refund.
- A "W" will be on their transcript.
- The "W" may affect their financial aid.
- Their progress in the Academic Intervention Program may be affected.
- They may not meet insurance company, employer, or sponsor requirements.
After these deadlines, students may ask their instructor to submit a "Withdraw" as a grade, but that is entirely up to the instructor.
