FlexEd: A Quality Education That’s Convenient

Need education that’s flexible to fit your life? Your schedule? Your learning style? Your goals? Then FlexEd is for you.

FlexEd is exactly what it sounds like: flexible education. It comes in three flavors: online classes, blended classes that combine online and on-campus experiences, and weekend classes. Whichever one you choose, the classes are of the same high quality that you’ve come to expect from WCC.

Online Classes

Online classes are conducted entirely by computer, so there’s no need to ever set foot on campus. You can take the class from anywhere there’s a computer with a high-speed Internet connection. You watch video lectures, submit assignments, participate in class discussions, and interact with the same outstanding faculty you’d have on campus—all online.

Blended Classes

Blended classes combine the best aspects of online and on-campus classes. You watch lectures, submit assignments, and do other activities online, but you also come to campus—usually just once a week—for discussions with your instructor and fellow students.

Weekend Classes

Weekend classes let you pursue an education outside your regular Monday–Friday schedule. Come to campus Saturday, Sunday, or both—and still have plenty of time for your other weekend activities.

Anxious About Online?

We understand that taking tests and doing your schoolwork online might seem a little scary, but our Blackboard help desk provides great support and we offer on-campus training sessions.

What Students Say About Blended Classes

“I took Intro to Statistics as a blended class. We did the work online before class and would meet once a week with questions and problems we might be having with the chapters. For a person like me who does not usually do well in math, it was the perfect way to take this class.”
