ABR 164: Special Topics

This class is no longer offered as of Fall 2017.

In this course, students will learn the history of composite materials such as resins with reinforcing carbon fiber and their uses in modern vehicles. Material types and construction uses, specialty equipment and the importance of vacuum bagging will be introduced. Students will make and use molds as part of the lightweighting and repair process. Students develop and execute repair plans using composite materials.
