ENG 034: Intermediate ESL Reading II

This class is no longer offered as of Fall 2015.

The course is a continuation of ENG 033, where students further develop independent reading comprehension skills for ESL. Emphasis is placed on vocabulary development, active reading strategies, variable reading rates, independent silent reading and comprehension. Students must satisfactorily complete their work before advancing to a higher level reading course. Satisfactory/unsatisfactory grading is used.
