JRN 111: Introduction to Journalism

In this course, students will examine, discuss, and analyze news stories delivered in a variety of forms and identify fundamental elements of style, tone, content. Students will also interview live sources, write news articles, and review the relevant rules of grammar. Examination of interview techniques and newsroom organization will also be included.
