NUR 123: Medical-Surgical Nursing I

In this course, students use the nursing process in the care of adults and their families during health and illness. Evidenced-based principles of nursing care for adults with common acute and chronic health problems are covered. This course builds on knowledge gained in prerequisite courses and is the first of three medical-surgical nursing courses. The title of this course was previously Acute Care Nursing I.

Level I Prereq: Academic Reading and Writing Levels of 6; NUR 102 and NUR 115, minimum grade "C+"; NUR 106 with grade "P"
