SUR 250: Surgical Technology Seminar

In this course, students will prepare for the national standardized assessment exam which will be administered in this course (the National CST examination - NBSTSA). Time is spent reinforcing academic knowledge, professional accountability, independent decision-making, and the critical nature of self-assessment for surgical technologists. In addition, students will successfully complete a resume and develop skills in interviewing techniques. Students will improve their test-taking skills to prepare them for the certification exam (NBSTSA).

Level I Prereq: Academic Reading and Writing Levels of 6; SUR 210, SUR 211 and SUR 270, minimum grade "C+"
