WAF 164: Special Topics

This class is no longer offered as of Spring/Summer 2014.

This accelerated welding course is designed to develop technical as well as hands on skills using classroom instruction and lab assignments. The course will introduce students to arc welding processes and specific joints used for armored plating in Department of Defense contracts. Areas to be covered include metallurgy, blue print reading, inspection, code and hands-on are welding techniques.

Level I Prereq: Academic Reading and Writing Levels of 6; previous welding experience
