Requirements Needed to Take Online Classes

In order to register and take online classes at WCC, you must meet one of the two sets of requirements listed below:

Requirement Set 1
Successful completion of Introduction to Online Learning
Maintain a withdrawal rate of less than 50%
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and above
Meet college reading/writing levels

OR

Requirement Set 2
Completion of 8 or more college-level credit hours
Maintain a withdrawal rate of less than 50%
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and above
Meet college reading/writing levels

We offer blended versions of many online classes. In most cases you just come to school once a week, and you gain the benefit of face-to-face discussions with your instructor and fellow students.
