Zombie Walk for Hunger |
WCC Main Campus, LA 375
Join Club DarCo (Dark Corners) for pizza, pop, and zombie movies before we head down to participate in the Ann Arbor Zombie Walk for Hunger. Club DarCo is for students who enjoy the macabre arts over a variety of media. Participants in the Zombie Walk are also collecting donations for Food Gatherers Food Bank of Ann Arbor. To donate to the food drive drop off non-perishable items in SC 112 between now and October 29. |

Dinner and a Movie |
WCC Main Campus, Garrett's Restaurant
Bring a date and enjoy dinner at Garrett's Restaurant followed by a movie at Rave Motion Pictures on Carpenter Road in Ann Arbor (formerly Showcase Cinemas). Tickets are on sale at the Cashier's Office on the second floor of the Student Center. Movie vouchers are valid for use any day between now and December 18, 2010.

Movie Screening: Bullied |

Join the Child Care Professionals Club for a screening and discussion of the documentary Bullied: A Student, a School, and a Case that Made History. According to the Teaching Tolerance website this film, "chronicles student’s ordeal at the hands of anti-gay bullies and offers an inspiring message of hope to those fighting harassment today." |

Hot Clubs of San Francisco and Detroit |
Michigan Theater, Ann Arbor, MI
The Hot Club of San Francisco joins the Hot Club of Detroit in a celebration of the 100th birthday of guitarist Django Reinhardt. Join us for an evening of live Gypsy jazz with a selection of short silent films from the 1930s. Tickets are on sale at the Cashier's Office on the second floor of the Student Center building.
