WCC offers options for
students seeking credit for previous computer experience.
Some options are:
Credit for Transfer and Non-Credit Experience
Credit through Articulation Agreements with Public Schools
Testing out of a course.
Substituting one course for another.
Not all these options are equal in cost, transferability, or procedures. Also,
most of these options require the prior approval of an instructor.
Though instructors are usually willing to work with you on alternative
forms of credit, they are under no obligation to do so. Among other things,
they may feel that in some cases it is more appropriate for a student
to earn credit in the classroom.
