The Language Lab
The Language Lab provides support for foreign language students. With the aid of computer software, audio and
visual tapes, students can practice pronunciation and grammar and access news and cultural information.
The Language Lab offers:
• CD ROMS which allow French and Spanish students to listen to, practice and record pronunciation exercises
• Cassette tapes for French, German, and Spanish students to listen to and practice pronunciation exercises
• Computer Proofing tools for French, German, and Spanish so students can check spelling and
grammar in their written foreign language assignments
• Access to web broadcasts of news in French and German
• Access to web connections providing audio and visual information on French and Spanish language and culture
• Foreign language videos
• Language Lab classes
The Language Lab is located in the Library Computer Commons,
GM
2nd Floor.
