WCC Faculty Help Set the Standards
Faculty in the WCC Dental Assistant Program have played a major role in
dental assistant careers locally and across the country.
Kathy Weber
Program Director
Kathy has been an instructor at WCC since 1986. She is a graduate of Siena Heights University
in Allied Health. Prior to coming to WCC, Kathy worked in private practice. Her years of experience
greatly contribute to her role as program director. She is an active member in OSAP and the ADEA and
has been a contributor for various text materials created by the WCC faculty.
Tina Sprague
Full-time Faculty
Tina has been employed at WCC since 1998. Prior to this time, she worked in private practice and at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University's online Baccalaureate program. Tina has consulted and accompanied other faculty in conducting four-handed dentistry seminars. She has served on the Michigan Dental Assistants Association and Washtenaw District Dental Assistants Society boards making her an active voice in the field of dental assisting.
Dee Green
Clinical Instructor
Dee is the newest member to the dental assisting faculty. She is a 1986 graduate of WCC’s Dental Assisting Program. She has worked in private practice and for the State of Michigan Correctional Facilities. She has spent a majority of her dental assistant career employed with the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry. Dee became a registered Dental Assistant in 2004, and is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Science Program at Siena Heights University. Her years of diverse dental assisting experience are a great asset as Clinical Instructor.
