Humanities » General Information

Humanities classes are an experience not unlike time travel. Through the studies of art, mythology, religion and history, faraway places are brought to life right before your eyes. In various Humanities classes you will visit the cultures of Ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece and Rome. You will become acquainted with periods ranging from the Middle Ages to Modern Times. Or you will study ideas from as far as Africa and Asia.

You can follow in the footsteps of religious pilgrims on their way to Mecca, or tour the palace of Louis the XIV, the sun king of France. From holy sites to palaces, from private homes to long lost cities, your journey will bring you back with a fresh perspective on the world we live in today. Travel among revolutionaries, kings, popes and visionaries as many of your teachers have. Bring an open mind, curiosity, and a commitment to learning, and you will be richly rewarded by the wealth of human experiences you will learn from.
