Notes About The WCC Web Site:
The WCC web site is comprised of various related web sites. Foremost among
these web sites are the public College Web site, MyWCC, Blackboard, and
the Library portal. The web site also coordinates with a variety of related
web sites such as those for Education to Go online courses, the
"WCC Bookstore", FACTS, Stapleslink, and the Michigan Small Business & Technology Development
Center.
The web site is the result of extensive collaboration and coordination
between Web Services and a variety of other units both within Information
Technology Services (e.g., MyWCC and other SCT products) and across the
College, including Admissions (e.g., online applications), Educational
Services, Enrollment Services, and Promotional Services (e.g., College
catalog, class schedule), Academic Departments (e.g., home pages), Distance
Learning (e.g., Blackboard), and so on.
The web site serves a broad community of users, including interested
community members, prospective students, current students, lifelong
learners, employers, and members of the WCC faculty, staff, and
administration.
