Document Camera

An image of a Document Camera

Overview

Document cameras are similar to older transparency projectors, but rather than projecting images through a lens, document cameras send a visual signal to a multi-media projector. This allows for the presentation of paper or transparency documents as well as the ability to showcase 3-dimensional objects in detail.

Document cameras typically do not come with multi-media projectors and are usually connected to a classroom's installed projector.

A Document Camera Training Video is available on our Technology training page to familiarize you with the basic functionality of the system.
