Geography: Redrawing the map on the global community

Nothing stays the same for long, and geography is no exception. New governments emerge where old ones failed. Consequently, boundaries are redrawn and alliances are reformed. Keep up with the a changing world map with these WCC geography courses:

GEO 101 World Regional Geography.
GEO 103 Cultural Geography.
GEO 212 Geography of the US and Canada.

While you're at it, learn more about political science, anthropology, economics, and history at WCC. Or talk to someone in the WCC Student Connection, 734-973-3543.

Self-improvement leads to self-advancement

Many WCC students take social science courses, such as Cultural Anthropology and American Film, simply for self-improvement. For others, a social science course is an important part of their general education. However, for a significant percentage of WCC students the study of social science represents a more conscious choice, a stepping stone toward a bachelor's degree.

The Associate of Arts Degree in Social Science can be the first step toward an advanced degree. Most courses are accepted at four-year colleges and universities.

Whichever option you choose-self-improvement, curriculum fulfillment, or associate degree requirement-you'll find yourself in a congenial, small-group atmosphere that encourages interaction with your fellow students and instructors.
