Oh-la-la, what a party!
On Saturday, February 2, 2008, the Morris Lawrence Building on the Washtenaw Community College Campus, was all aglow as we
celebrated the 23rd Annual WCC Foundation Mardi Gras "Party in Paris!"
Co-chairs Robert Wm. Brewster & Dr. Dina Cocco and Dennis & Monique Deschaine, the Mardi Gras committees,
the WCC Foundation staff, numerous college staff, students and community volunteers, and the WCC Culinary Arts
& Hospitality department, along with guest chefs, created a truly memorable evening of delicious indulgence!
The wine flowed, the music of John E. Lawrence, jazz guitarist and WCC professor, played, friends gathered,
dancing to the rhythmic sounds of The Bugs Beddow Band was a must, and of course the food was magnifique!
Again this event was an early sell out! So mark your calendars for February 7, 2009, to reserve your seats,
as we will travel to the sultry streets of South America to share in their Mardi Gras festival at our "Sao Paulo Soriee!"
