1. Access Class Schedule
If you have any holds or other registration restrictions, you should
resolve these issues prior to registration by visiting the Student Connection
or calling (734)973-3543.
To begin the registration process, go to the main WCC web page at
http://www.wccnet.edu and click on the link that says "Steps to Take Classes".
This tutorial contains screenshots for Fall 2004 registration, but
the overall process is the same when registering for a different semester.

2. Steps for Taking Credit Classes
When you get to the Class Schedule page, you will notice an ordered list of steps that outline the recommended registration
process. The list that runs down the middle of the page is a more specific list with a link to each step within
the general steps of the process. There is also a box on the left of the page that has a more direct and
simplified list of the registration steps.
The links associated with each step and all of the information contained within the linked pages
may not be applicable to all students.
Note: It is recommended that new students (and even some continuing students) follow each step outlined
on the Registration Steps page

4. Review Class Listings
WCC class listings are grouped by discipline, which are specific programs of study listed alphabetically
on the left side of the web page.
Links for Distance Learning and Extension Center classes are located on the right side of the web page (See
the blue arrows pointing right). The links to search for a class are located below the link to online courses.
For the purpose of this tutorial, we will show what would happen if you clicked on
"Academic Skills (ACS)" in the disciplines list.
