  4. MIOSHA: Asbestos Awareness

    Construction workers routinely come into contact with asbestos-containing materials when renovating or demolishing buildings built prior to 1981. This class provides information regarding asbestos, its various uses and forms, and health effects associated with exposure. Asbestos awareness training is required annually for employees who may come into contact with asbestos-containing materials (ACM) or presumed asbestos-containing materials (PACM), but do not disturb ACM or PACM during their work activities.
