  10. Landscape Design: A Homeowner's Guide 2

    Prerequisite(s): "Landscape Design: A Homeowner's Guide 1."

    Have a flair for design and want to design a backyard paradise? Build on skills and diagrams from Homeowner's Guide 1 and create a finished design plan. Start with something small and manageable like a new garden bed, patio area, or pathway. Learn about the design process and apply it to your own yard in a hands-on environment. Receive one-on-one assistance from a design professional. The end result will depend on the size and complexity of your project. This may be the beginning of a joyful outdoor journey around your yard.

    You must supply tracing paper, vellum, photos of your lawn, pencils and erasers, a rolling ruler, an architectural or engineering scale, drafting or masking tape, and a circle template. Colored pencils and plant reference books are optional.
