Accent Reduction Improving Communications
This rapid language acquisition class is designed to help eliminate language barriers in the global workforce while helping non-native English speakers maintain their unique cultural identities. It involves a mix of classroom and interactive software training at home. The class focuses on the main component areas of accent reduction: recognizing speech patterns and pronunciation patterns and learning to "code switch." Classroom time will be divided between learning accent reduction techniques and managing conversation with greater proficiency.
