Residential Builders License Exam Preparation & Continuing Education

The residential builders classes help you prepare to take the Michigan exams that are required to become licensed as a residential builder or a maintenance and alterations contractor. You must take at least 60 hours of training before you can become licensed.

The classes also can help you meet continuing education requirements after you’re licensed. The requirements vary depending on how long you’ve been licensed.
