Our online course helps meet the needs of busy adults. It is offered each January, May and September and includes a two-hour, scheduled orientation on campus where you’ll meet your instructor and receive your content access code and virtual hospital software. Then you can review anytime, 24/7!
The course is divided into twelve-sections and includes an e-book text, audio and visual clips, animations, slides, interactive case studies, and instructor support. A virtual hospital is where you will set priorities for care, collect, analyze and interpret data, prepare and administer medications, use critical thinking skills and reach conclusions about complex patient problems. Optional, on-campus, skills practice labs with nursing instructors and online skills videos also now included.

Note: This self-paced course is to be completed within a sixteen- week period. You will receive a certificate upon successful completion. Successful completion is measured by achievement of 75% or higher on the multiple choice exams and participation in discussion board questions.
