Last year, WCC welding student Joe Young won the International Pre-Trial competition and ultimately won a silver medal at the WorldSkills Competition in Calgary, Alberta.

WCC students are always among the top competitors at the national SkillsUSA Championships. Last year, they won four gold medals and one silver medal.
