New Video Showcases School of Advanced Manufacturing Systems
Want a secure job in manufacturing? A new video about WCC’s School of Advanced Manufacturing Systems shows you how to get one.
The key is a strong education in an area like industrial electronics, automation, machine tool, or numerical control programming. The School of Advanced Manufacturing Systems offers programs in all of them.
Most scenes in the video were shot in WCC’s manufacturing labs, and show the wide range of equipment available to students. Multimedia developer Mike Wilkinson of Web Services, who shot the video, said he was struck by how similar that equipment was to equipment he saw while shooting at Ford’s Rawsonville Plant.
Wilkinson produced the video with writer Eleanor Shelton of Public Relations and Marketing Services. The two have won five national awards for other videos about WCC’s schools.
Previous videos in the schools series spotlighted the School of Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement, the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, the School of Music and Performing Arts, and the School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management.
