Roofers Union brings national training program to WCC

ANN ARBOR, Michigan (August 16, 2019) – A fourth trade union will make Washtenaw Community College and the Ann Arbor area its home base for instructor training when the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers & Allied Workers holds its inaugural National Instructor Training Program June 15-19, 2020.

United Association returns to WCC for 30th year

ANN ARBOR, Michigan (August 12, 2019) – For the 30th consecutive summer, the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry (UA) is back on the Washtenaw Community College campus for its Instructor Training Program.

A record number of more than 2,040 registered United Association students are filling college classrooms across campus during what would otherwise be a three-week quiet time before the Fall 2019 semester starts on August 26.

The Washtenaw Community College Board of Trustees voted to extend the contract of President and CEO Dr. Rose B. Bellanca to June 30, 2022.
