One of the many popular exhibits at the WCC Earth Day celebration each year is the live presentation by the Leslie Science Center. At this year’s event on Thursday, April 11, guests will learn more about birds of prey up close and personal.
The WCC Board of Trustees has approved seven new certificate and degree programs for the upcoming 2012-2013 academic year. Fall classes will begin Aug. 24, and registration starts in mid July.
It’s hard to determine the value of a helping hand. For the recipients of bone marrow donations, heart treatments, and cancer services, that value is priceless.
Decades ago, drawing blood was a skill taught quickly and informally in just a few hours. But today, to become a skilled phlebotomist professionals have to complete a much more rigorous course of study. And WCC provides it.
