WCC Students Are Ready to Help

Helping others help themselves. Community service is all about extending a hand to benefit our community and the institutions that support it. That is what WCC students will be doing in droves this spring and summer as they spread out far and wide to raise money, awareness, and spirits.

In March, the United Methodist Retirement Communities will partner with WCC to provide basic nursing assistant skills training to residents of Chelsea and surrounding communities. Classes for the three-week program begin March 15, and a mandatory orientation will be held March 8.

Students, employees, and community members will have an opportunity to get answers to that question at WCC’s eighth annual Earth Day Festival Thursday, April 16, from 10:00am to 2:00pm on the first floor of the Student Center building. All events are free and open to the public.
