WCC Partners With Willow Run Schools for GED Prep Class

WCC and Willow Run Community Schools are collaborating to help adults who didn’t graduate from high school take steps toward attending college. WCC will offer a new 10-week GED preparation class at Willow Run Middle School May 25-Aug. 5.

WCC Offers Certified Nurse Aide Training in Chelsea

In March, the United Methodist Retirement Communities will partner with WCC to provide basic nursing assistant skills training to residents of Chelsea and surrounding communities. Classes for the three-week program begin March 15, and a mandatory orientation will be held March 8.

Ironworkers Relocating Training Program to WCC

The International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers has announced it will relocate its annual Instructor Training Program to WCC. Joseph Hunt, general president of the IABSORIW, announced the organization’s National Training Fund Trustees voted unanimously to move the program to the College.
