WCC Website is Finalist for National Awards

WCC’s redesigned website is a finalist for the two most important awards in a national contest for college and university websites. The awards are sponsored by eduStyle, a website for web design professionals in higher education.

Technology and Job Demands Lead to Program Changes at WCC

Because of changes in technology and the job market, Washtenaw Community College will add some degree and certificate programs and discontinue others starting this fall. The academic areas most affected are computers, computer-aided drafting, and architecture.

WCC Honors Peg Talburtt With 2009 Award of Merit

The Washtenaw Community College Board of Trustees has named Ann Arbor nonprofit executive Margaret (Peg) Talburtt as recipient of the College’s highest honor, the 2009 Award of Merit. Talburtt will receive her award at WCC’s Commencement on Saturday, May 16.

WCC Tuition Going Up; Increase Kept to a Minimum

This fall Washtenaw Community College students will pay a little more for their credit classes. The Board of Trustees voted March 24 to increase tuition by $3 per credit hour. That means a full-time student taking 12 credit hours will pay $36 more per semester than last year.
