Washtenaw Community College’s pharmacy technician program students are more in-demand than ever before.
More than thirty high school students from across the region experienced a unique learning experience as participants in the 2015 Global Trade Mission program held on campus during the last week of February. This was the third year the College sponsored the program, which is designed to introduce high school students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, give them an understanding of how the global economy works and expose them to emerging technologies.

In her role as Chair of the Talent Council of Region 9 of the Michigan Regional Prosperity Initiative, Dr. Bellanca spoke to an audience of approximately 1000 leaders in government, education and business at the 2015 Governor’s Economic and Education Summit on March 3. The Initiative was established by Gov. Rick Snyder and the state legislature in 2014 to encourage local partners to strategize on ways to create vibrant regional economies.
Tom Lamb is a new board member of the Washtenaw Community College Foundation, starting his first term last August, but he is already a huge proponent of WCC.
WCC is opening registration for Spring/Summer and Fall Semesters on March 18 so you can get your classes set for the rest of the year.
