Regional Science Fair Returns to WCC March 8-9

For the 25th consecutive year, the Southeastern Michigan Science Fair returns to WCC March 8 and 9. Joining WCC as cosponsor is the University of Michigan. The fair receives support from Toyota and a donation from the University of Michigan Graduate Student Council.

Register Now for Spring/Summer 2013 Semester

Whether or not winter blizzards are done for the year, registration for WCC’s Spring/Summer Semester has started.

Registration for Fall Semester Will Start Earlier

This year, registration for Fall Semester will start three months earlier than in the past. Registration will start April 17 for current and readmitted students, and April 18 for new students.

A career in science can be exciting and lucrative. However, jobs in science-related fields often aren’t on the radar of graduating high school seniors. WCC is changing that with a two-week summer program for incoming freshmen that showcases science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Teens Learn to Lead in Saturday Morning Program

Middle and high school students from around Washtenaw County are spending their Saturdays preparing to become successful adults. They are learning how to speak well and to lead others, all through a unique program hosted at Ypsilanti’s Parkridge Community Center.
