WCC Partners With SPARK to Identify and Address Training Needs

The WCC Workforce Development department and Ann Arbor SPARK have joined forces to identify and address the training needs of area businesses in new and innovative ways. 

WCC Volunteer Fair Set for Feb. 21

WCC is helping area nonprofits increase their number of community volunteers. On Tuesday, Feb. 21, the WCC Student Development and Activities department will host a Volunteer Fair from 11:00am to 1:00pm on the second floor of the Student Center building. The event is free and open to the public.

Thanksgiving came early for WCC culinary arts students this year. On Thursday, Nov. 17, they prepared and served a full Thanksgiving feast to over 200 families at the Perry School gymnasium in Ypsilanti as part of an annual Thanksgiving community dinner.

WCC is a founding member of the new Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN) for Southeast Michigan, which launched Nov. 15.
