At this time of year, you may have visions of Thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas sugarplums dancing in your head. But don’t forget to focus on winter—as in registration for Winter 2012 Semester.
Two changes are on tap when WCC students start registering for Fall Semester.
Being prepared when registration starts for WCC’s Spring/Summer Semester can help students avoid getting delayed during the process, according to Kathy Currie, director of student records.
Registration for WCC’s Winter 2011 Semester starts Wednesday, Nov. 10, for current and readmitted students. Registration for new students starts one week later on Wednesday, Nov. 17.
Degree-seeking students whose first semester of enrollment at WCC is Fall 2010 Semester or later will be required to take a computer class that aims to equip them with skills for school, home, and work.
Registration for WCC’s Fall Semester starts Wednesday, July 14, for current and readmitted students. Registration for new students starts one week later on Wednesday, July 21.
Registration for WCC’s Spring/Summer Semester starts Wednesday, March 17, for current and readmitted students. Registration for new students starts one week later on Wednesday, March 24.
On a freezing January day, a large, comfortable shuttle bus pulls up the circle drive in front of the Student Center building every 15 minutes. Students and staff get on and off, some wearing little stickers announcing that they are part of “The Solution.”
Students enrolling for the first time at WCC the Winter 2010 Semester are the first to take advantage of a new student ID card making its debut in January.
Anticipating another semester of high enrollment, WCC is taking steps to prevent a frantic, last-minute rush to complete paperwork and sign up for classes right before Winter Semester begins on Jan. 11, 2010. These steps include several new deadlines and procedure changes.
