Hundreds of Washtenaw County adults will get help preparing for high-demand jobs under a grant awarded to a group that includes WCC.
WCC will present two job fairs and two pre-fair seminars in March and April that are open to WCC students, alumni, and the public. All of the events are free.
WCC launched the first phase of a redesigned website today that features easier navigation and lays the groundwork for more improvements over the coming months.
A new video on WCC’s website introduces potential students to programs offered by the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.
In recent weeks, reducing global warming and increasing the use of renewable energy have become top agenda items in Washington, D.C., and Lansing.
“Helping Employers Thrive & Grow,” a seminar aimed at connecting employers with local support services and resources that can help them in a tough economy, will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17, at Towsley Auditorium in Washtenaw Community College’s Morris Lawrence building. There’s no charge for the seminar, which runs from 8:00am to 1:00pm, but employers are asked to register by Feb. 12.
