Our Classes, Your Way

Getting an education should be simple to fit into your life. Washtenaw Community College makes this possible by offering classes at different times throughout the morning, afternoon and evening. For the ultimate convenience, students can take some or all of their classes online. And more importantly, WCC can get you on the fast track to completing your education with classes that run for as little as 7.5 and 10 weeks every semester.

Earn Your Degree Online

WCC offers a total of 16 online-only certificates and degrees, meaning you can earn a degree entirely online without having to step foot on our campus. Online-only certificates and degrees are a great option for students who reside in or outside of Washtenaw County.

WCC programs support county economic outlook

The highly anticipated 2015 Economic Outlook for Washtenaw County was presented at the March 19 Washtenaw Economic Club program at Washtenaw Community College.

Nursing and Allied Health students offer free health screenings to community

Starting this month, Washtenaw Community College Nursing and Allied Health students will be taking their skills out into the community in the form of free wellness and health promotion clinics.

Free College Day full of fun, learning

Washtenaw Community College’s third Free College Day on March 28 bustled with excitement. More than 300 community members attended, enthusiastic to learn as much as possible from the WCC faculty and staff who were thrilled to share their knowledge.

Spring Career Fair connects employers with talent

The annual Washtenaw Community College Spring Career Fair held last month was the largest in the college’s history. Eighty local employers participated in the fair including Dick Scott Automotive Group, IKEA, Manpower, Thetford and Thomson Reuters.

Entrepreneurship Center connects startups, community

Budding entrepreneurs need a variety of resources to grow ideas into thriving businesses, and accessing all those resources can be difficult. But now there is a new central place, offering assistance on everything from marketing to legal support to financing, at the Entrepreneurship Center at Washtenaw Community College.

WCC is a gem in our community

Sean Duval, a member of the WCC Foundation Executive Committee, calls WCC a “gem in our community.” He cited the Foundation’s mission as an investment in the community and one that will return dividends to the people of Washtenaw County for many years to come.
