From GED Prep to College Success
Adults enroll in WCC’s GED preparation program to complete something they started. Now the program has several new components to help them set their next set of goals. At the top of the list: continuing on for a college certificate or degree.
Students Encourage Students to Finish Their WCC Degrees
WCC’s Beta Gamma Alpha chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is encouraging students to take a pledge to finish college. Students can make pledges during Completion Day, an event PTK is sponsoring on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from noon to 3:00pm on the second floor of the Student Center building.

WCC is a founding member of the new Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN) for Southeast Michigan, which launched Nov. 15.
WCC Job Fair Features Tech Careers Oct. 18
Approximately 25 companies in technology-related businesses will be on hand at the Fall Technology Job Fair sponsored by WCC’s Career Planning and Employment Services department. The fair takes place on Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 10:00am to 2:00pm in the Morris Lawrence building. It’s free to all WCC students, alumni, and community members.
