UA University

One of the benefits the United Association (UA) provides its members is the opportunity for advanced training that can enhance their career potential. For over 30 years, the UA has partnered with WCC, and other colleges, to create a specialized learning environment called UA University.


Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers - BAC University

Washtenaw Community College and the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC) have come together to provide a specialized learning environment for BAC members. Learn more on the BAC University website.


JATC - Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee

Washtenaw Community College (WCC) manages one of the largest apprenticeship programs in North America. The Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice Program, created and monitored by the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC), serves the largest local union of Sprinkler Fitters in North America, Local 669.


Ann Arbor Spark - WCC & Ann Arbor Spark Team Up

WCC and Ann Arbor SPARK have teamed up to create the Pfizer Response. This community effort was put in place to help retain talent, attract businesses, launch new businesses and help assess and mitigate the loss of Pfizer.
