Welcome to WCC

Thank you for your interest in attending Washtenaw Community College. No matter what your background, you’ll feel comfortable here: we accept students with a broad range of ages, capabilities, and academic backgrounds. WCC is big enough to offer tons of opportunities, yet our small classes ensure that you get personal attention from our dedicated instructors. In addition, our affordable tuition means you can get a quality education without racking up huge debts.

To meet your needs and schedule, we offer classes at a variety of times and locations—even online. There are traditional classes that meet during weekdays, evening classes, weekend classes, extension site classes, online classes, and blended classes.

WCC offers more than 100 programs that lead to a certificate or degree. We also have dozens of transfer agreements with four-year schools, making it easy for you to pursue a bachelor’s degree after you graduate from WCC.

When should you apply?

Apply now. To get the best selection of classes, apply as far in advance as possible before the semester begins. If possible, apply several weeks before classes start to avoid a last-minute rush to complete your admission requirements.

If you’re an international student with an F-1 visa, there are deadlines for applying and meeting all admission requirements. The deadline is July 15 for Fall Semester and Nov. 15 for Winter Semester. WCC only admits new F-1 visa students for fall and winter semesters.
