How To Apply for Admission
All new, readmitting, high school dual enrolled, and guest students must complete an application for admission. Admission procedures are outlined on the college application when you may apply online. Additional admission requirements apply to students who apply to health-occupation and advanced certificate programs. Allow at least 24 hours for the application to be processed after it has been received. After your application has been accepted: 1) you need to sign up and go through Orientation and Assessment. 2) a PIN (Personal Identification Number) will be generated to provide you with access to online registration and records. The PIN is your birth date in six-digit format. Example: May 6, 1968 is 050668. You are encouraged to change your PIN to a number only you know. For additional admission information, call (734) 973-3543. New Admissions (Including international students NOT on F-1 visas) Apply online to submit your admissions application over the Internet. Applications are accepted year-round, but we encourage you to apply early so that you can get the best selection of courses through early registration. If you are applying to health occupation programs, you must submit an additional application specific to that program. Contact the Student Connection, (734)973-3543, to obtain the appropriate forms. Readmitting Students If you have attended WCC in the past, but it's been more than two years, you will need to submit a Readmission Application, which you may do by applying online. There is no fee for reapplying. Submit your Readmission Application early. Admission to health, University of Michigan Honors Transfer or other high-demand programs Admission to WCC does not guarantee admission to these programs, which may have additional admission requirements. Additional information may be obtained by calling the Student Connection at 734-973-3543. International students (F-1 Visas) Before being admitted to the college on an F-1 student visa, international students must meet with the International Student Admissions representative. Call 734-973-3315 to schedule an appointment. See International Students web site for Admission Requirements for F-1 Visa Students. Dual enrolled students High school students age 15 or older and in the 10th grade or above may enroll in WCC credit classes for a maximum of seven credit hours per semester.
