Welcome to Admissions
Who can apply?
If you are at least 18 years old or have your high school diploma or GED certificate and would benefit
from the College's classes, you're welcome to apply. High school students who wish to take
college-level classes while completing high school may also apply but their assessment scores
must meet College-level minimums before admittance will be granted. High school
applicants must also be at least 15 years of age and in the 10th grade.
How to Apply
Simply fill out the online application for admission.

Suggested Application Deadline for new students:
April 21, 2008 for Spring/Summer 2008
In order to have enough time to complete their admission requirements before the semester begins,
students are encouraged to submit their applications by April 21, 2008.
Apply and register early for best course selection. New student registration begins March 19, 2008.
Application Deadline for F1 Visa students:
March 15, 2008 for Spring/Summer 2008
New and transferring F1 visa applicants need to complete their admission requirements no later than March 15, 2008
in order to be admitted for the Spring/Summer 2008 semester.
How much does it cost to apply?
Nothing. It's free.
Do I have to apply each semester?
No. Unless:
- You took credit classes at WCC over two years ago.
or
- You are a dual-enrolled high school student and under 18 years of age.
After Applying
Most applicants are required to complete online orientation after they apply and are assigned a WCC student ID number.
Next, they must attend an in-person orientation and then take basic skills assessment before they are admitted.
Applicants cannot register until they are admitted: use your mailed checklist to find out what you must do to be admitted.
For orientation details, go to the
Orientation & Assessment web site.
If you have questions, call 734-973-3543.

will not have to take orientation and assessment. Start by filling out the
