Registration Holds A hold is an academic or financial obligation on your record that prevents you from registering for classes. You can check online to see if you have any holds by logging into MyWCC. If you are a continuing or readmitting student and are on any kind of hold, you must have the hold released before you will be allowed to register. Below is a list of holds and the offices that can release them. If you have questions about these holds, please contact the offices listed. Academic Suspension Suspension Appeals Committee, c/o Dean of Academic Placement, Counseling, & Support Services 734-973-3543 Unless the student submits a successful appeal to the Suspension Appeals Committee (SAC) by the specified deadline, the student will not be able to take classes for one semester or one year, depending on whether the student has been suspended previously. Age Hold (less than 18) Student Connection 734-973-3543 You are under age 18 and must submit the Minor Student Enrollment Parental Consent Form each semester before you can register. Go to Student Forms. Assessment Hold Student Connection 734-973-3543 Either take the assessment test (COMPASS) or submit documentation of exemption. Collections Hold Cashier's Office 734-973-3485 Resolve prior balance. ESL Counseling, Faculty Advisors 734-677-5102 See counselor or advisor to request authorization to register. Financial Cashier's Office 734-973-3485 Resolve outstanding balance. Foreign (F1 visa) Admissions 734-973-3543 Submit required documents each semester. High School Student Connection 734-973-3543 Submit Dual Enrollee Consent Form each semester. Go to Student Forms. Home School Counseling 734-677-5102 WCC Counselor must authorize your registration each semester. Invalid Address Student Connection 734-973-3543 Log into MyWCC and change your address online or provide your new address to Student Connection. Library Library 734-973-3429 You have overdue materials on loan or an outstanding fee. Resolve with Library. NDSL Financial Aid Hold Financial Aid 734-973-3523 You have an outstanding student loan balance to resolve. ReAdmit Admissions 734-973-3543 You have not been enrolled in credit classes in 2 years. Fill out readmission application online at least 24 hours prior to registration. Registrar Student Records 734-973-3543 Make an appointment with either Dean or Director of Enrollment. Residency Student Connection 734-973-3543 Your in-district addess is invalid or missing. Provide documentation of your address. Smoking Violation Student Services Vice President 734-973-3536 Make an appointment with the Student Services Vice President. SRWC Hold Student Resource and Women's Center 734-677-5105 Resolve obligation to the Student Resource and Women's Center. WTMC w/draw – must admit to WCC Admissions 734-973-3543 Complete the WCC application and admission process.
