Whether you’re a current high school student, or you haven’t been in a classroom for years, college is a big step. That’s why you’ll have a dedicated success coach and advisor to help you stay on track and access any resources you might need to be successful – inside the classroom, and outside.

Advance Ypsi’s personalized benefits include:

  • Help exploring career interests and goals to pick the program best for you
  • Direct connections with employers and job opportunities
  • Potential for paid internships, apprenticeships, and job shadowing
  • Financial support for eligible students
  • Personal assistance to navigate paying for college
  • A dedicated success coach and advisor for each student
  • Direct support from enrollment to completion from our Career and Life Success Coordinator
  • Assistance with job applications, resumes, and interviews

WCC offers the lowest community college tuition rate in Michigan. We don’t believe that finances should be a barrier to education. That’s why Advance Ypsi students are provided with 1:1 guidance to find – and apply for – the financial assistance you need to accomplish your educational goals.

If you’re a high school student, it’s likely your school district will pay for your WCC tuition as a dual enrollment student. If you’re an adult learner, we have scholarship options that can help you earn your degree tuition-free.

Just do it. I know it’s cliché, but the college is willing and wanting to help and often has resources that are under-utilized. WCC wants to help you get what you need to continue your education to the finish line.
