Executive Pastry Chef
I grew up here in Ann Arbor and graduated from Pioneer High School. I began working in the restaurant and bakery industry at the age of 14, and began a professional career training at Kendal College in Chicago. Deciding to train further in pastry, I moved to the east coast and received a bachelors degree in Baking and Pastry Arts / Food Service Management From Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. While living in New England I worked as a pastry chef and baker for many companies including Delaware North Companies and Borelli’s Italian. When the time came to move back home to Michigan, I worked as a baker and pastry instructor for Zingerman’s Bakehouse before taking up the position of Head Pastry Chef here at Katherine’s Catering. It has been an incredible opportunity here at Katherine’s to both work with a great team of people and to manage and grow the bakery side of our operations.
