NUR 258: Nursing Concepts Synthesis

This class is no longer offered as of Winter 2019.

In this course, students will transition into professional nursing practice through preceptorships with professional nurses in a variety of clinical settings. Students will synthesize knowledge of nursing principles and concepts and begin to refine their professional nursing roles. Emphasis is placed on clinical reasoning and clinical judgment in the integration of care management for multiple, complex patients. Students prepare for the National Council Licensure Examination-Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN).

Level I Prereq: Academic Reading and Writing Levels of 6; NUR 138 minimum grade "C+"
