Core Business Skills (CTBCS)

Certificate

If you are undecided on which direction to go, start out with our Core Business Skills certificate. This certificate will give you the basic understanding of business and the core foundation of business principles. Students can nest these classes into a number of business certificates and degrees at WCC!

The courses in this program are required in WCC's business associate in arts degree and the accounting associate in applied science degree programs.

Accelerated Program

Accelerated learner programs are designed to cater to demanding schedules, offering you the opportunity to earn business certificates to advance your career. The program can be completed in half the amount of time it takes to earn a traditional degree, shortening the total commitment needed to become a subject matter expert in a chosen area of study.

This is a high demand, high skill and high wage program as defined by the Michigan Community College Network.

This certificate also supports:

  • WCC's Management, Retail and Supply Chain associate degree programs offered by the School of Business and Entrepreneurial Studies.
  • Any of the occupational programs where students will be working in a business setting.
