This advanced certificate program is designed for students interested in web application development and programming. Courses focus on the knowledge and skills necessary for creating database-enabled applications, dynamic content, and interactive websites.

Students completing this program will have knowledge in the areas of web programming, including PHP, MySQL, Javascript and Node.JS. These skills will enable them to pursue a variety of Internet-related career fields. Industry-standard software is used and coursework emphasizes industry best practices.

This is a high demand, high skill and high wage program as defined by the Michigan Community College Network.

This program is designed for students interested in Web application development and programming. Courses focus on the knowledge and skills necessary for creating database-enabled applications, dynamic content, and interactive Web sites.

 Eastern Michigan University, BS degree.

 Students must complete the Web Design and Development Certificate or have significant programming and HTML5/CSS3 experience prior to starting this certificate.
