The region’s talent pipeline runs through Washtenaw Community College. In the last five years, WCC has awarded:
- 2,136 certificates and degrees in manufacturing, technology, skilled trades and public service jobs, such as police officers and child care professionals;
- 3,842 certificates and degrees for nurses, radiography technicians, dental assistants, surgical techs and others;
- 4,367 certificates and degrees in business and computer technology;
- 7,619 certificates and degrees in math, science, technology and liberal arts.
