During the weekly maintenance window on the morning of Sunday, May 21, quarterly operating
system and database patches will be applied to all Linux servers that support Banner
and Banner-related systems. These applications will be unavailable to faculty, staff
and students.
Services Affected: Banner 8 and 9, MyWCC, DegreeWorks, Register for Classes, Pay Tuition, Financial
Aid Appeals, JATC 669 Moodle Testing Site, FAMIS Self-Service.
Start Time: 2 a.m. on Sunday, May 21
Anticipated End Time: 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 21
Which Services Will Be Unavailable and Available? Banner 8 and 9, MyWCC, DegreeWorks, Register for Classes, Pay Tuition, JATC 669 Moodle
Testing Site, and the Financial Aid Appeals system will be be available. This will
not affect Blackboard or the college's main website (wccnet.edu). Ensuring that operating
systems are current is a critical component of our security posture.
